Hi! My name is Savannah Thackeray. I am 14 years old. I live in Kaysville Utah and go to Centennial Jr. High. I am also have to younger brothers. I have 3 pets, 2 cats and a dog.

2 of my hobbies would be cheer and photography. I absolutely love to cheer. Right now, I am cheering for Patriots All Star cheer and love it! I think it is so much fun and am so exited to compete. Now photography. I honestly just love messing around taking pictures. One of my favorite things to take pictures of would be nature. Even just going out into my yard there is always something beautiful to take one of.

Now school! For school like I said I go to Centennial. I am in 9th grade. Next year I will be going to Farmington High School and am pretty exited. School is definitely not my favorite, but I don’t hate it as much as some people do.
Next, 2 trips I have went on. I am going to use my 2 favorite trips I have been on for this one. First of, Lake Powell! Lake Powell is definitely my favorite trip ever. I already love to go boating, and boating at Powell just makes in that much better. My second favorite trip was to Finland. My grandma grew up there so we went with a bunch of family. It was super cool and so much fun!

Now, 6 of my favorites. For this one I am going to do just some random things that I love. First of all, my favorite restaurant. My favorite restaurant would either be Chick-Fil-A or Cafe Rio. Next, my favorite treat which would be ice cream! Third, my favorite summer activity – boating! I absolutely love to go boating it is definitely one of my favorite things ever. Fourth, my favorite winter activity which would be skiing. Fifth, my favorite color. My favorite color is blue. I love almost any shade of blue and think it is so pretty. Last of all, my favorite sports team which are the Utes! My whole family loves that team and we are big fans!

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
